Homework

I once spent an ENTIRE day stuck on ONE math problem!!!! It was a long division problem and I just couldn’t bring myself to DO it!

Finally, in an attempt to salvage what was left of the remaining daylight, I resolved to buckle-down and just get it done. The surprise came when it only took about five minutes. FIVE MINUTES!!!!! I tortured myself all day long for a five minute task I was convinced would be impossible. That’s a moment that taught me a lesson; sometimes I spend more energy and anxiety procrastinating than what the task is actually worth. Just do it. I know, I know, easier said than done…but still, the lesson will come along enough times to teach me eventually….right?
