Waiting for the Sun to Rise
I had just shut the front door behind me when I saw Heather's sunflower looking so majestic in the glow of the morning sun so, naturally, I snapped a picture! As I thought more about this image during my morning walk, I realized that it was symbolic to me. I was about to embark on another grand adventure! My husband and I were signing papers this very day on a new house...for just me. We had been dealing with some things over this past year and decided together that separating would be the very best way to decide what needs to come next for our future, and if that future will be spent walking together or apart.
8”x8” mixed media on canvas, ready to hang in a black floater frame.
