Forgotten Coast

$125.00

Just me and my four kids with our little Tahoe and camper set-up, driving toward Matthole Campground along the northern California coast.  The road is washed out in various places, the potholes are abundant, and I'm white knuckling the steering wheel.  The scenery is breath-taking as the rolling hills bring us so close to the clouds that, at times, we are above them, and they are moving fast!  After driving along like this for over an hour, the view opens up into a large canyon, and we can see the coastal water way down below!  Another hour or more, and we will arrive safely at our remote destination.

I am thrilled to be on this grand adventure!  I am so happy to get to do it all on my own and relish in all the excited and optimistic vibes that my free spirit has generated, un-scrutinized and unsquashed!  The reality of danger and risk is still in my awareness, but I am 100% confident in my abilities to get my crew to safety, one way or another.

8x8 Mixed Media on canvas. Ready to hang in a black floater frame!
